Xiaomi Might Launch Redmi Note 5A with 16MP Selfie Camera & MIUI9 in India on Nov 2nd

Xiaomi India has sent us Invitations for their next product launch that is happening on 2nd of November. The Invitation clearly shows a lightning symbol that hints at a product with fast charge or quick charge & this could be a Smartphone with the fast charge technology.
A few weeks back the company had launched the Mi Mix 2 that went on sale in India this week following which we are hearing rumors about the Redmi Note 5. This year Xiaomi has been selling the Redmi Note 4 in huge volumes and the successor of the same is awaited by everyone. That said, when we talk about the Redmi Note 5 we are already hearing that this could be launched on the lines of the 18:9 display & upgraded camera sensors.
There are speculations sent to us by our readers that this could be the launch of the MIUI 9official built but we guess this might be wrong because the invitation clearly mentions the launch of a new series. A new series could also phase-out the expectation of the Redmi Note 5 because it is a part of the Redmi Note Series that is not yet launched in China too. If you consider the recently launched devices, Xiaomi had launched the Redmi Note 5A in China that could be launched in India at a price of around Rs 6999.

Update 1: If you take a close look at the Lightning fast logo on the Beta version of the MIUI 9 it does resemble the one in the invitation & we suspect that this could be the official launch of the same for the products that are sold in India. Update 2: The brand has tweeted out the Invitation along with the hashtag #YourBestSelfie that clearly tells us about an upcoming Selfie Smartphone from Xiaomi. This boils down to just two options i.e. the Mi Note 3 or the Redmi 5A out of which we think its the Mi Note 3 that might be running on their own SoC i.e. Surge S1. As mentioned above, let’s wait and watch to know more on what the brand is going to unveil on November 2nd in India.
Update 3: The latest tweet from Redmi India hints the upcoming device to launch under the affordable Redmi series. The hashtag #YourBestSelfie also confirms it to be a selfie-centric smartphone. There is a high chance that the company might bring the Redmi Note 5A which was already launched in China with a 16MP selfie camera. The company also confirmed to launch the all-new MIUI 9 on the same day.
