Xiaomi Teases New POCO Sub-brand, Might Launch POCOPHONE F1 in India

The device will be coming with a 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio. It will come powered by the 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Mobile Platform coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. Along with the rear-facing fingerprint sensor, the device will also come with more IR face unlock. It will also come equipped with the liquid cooling system. It might come with Android 8.1 Oreo-based MIUI 9 out of the box. In terms of optics, the device will feature 12MP + 5MP dual rear cameras and a single 20MP front camera. The POCOPHONE F1 will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery and supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 fast charging technology.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 & Redmi 5 Plus with 18:9 Displays Confirmed to Launch on Dec 7th

Xiaomi will be launching a new entry-level smartphone tomorrow in India. We expect it to be the Redmi 5A which was already launched in China. Today, the company also announced to launch the all-new Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones on December 7th in China. There are also leaks about the Redmi Note 5, but the company hasn’t mentioned about its launch. Xiaomi also confirmed the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones to come with an 18:9 display and a larger battery. The Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus might come with similar design. As of now, there is not much information about the Redmi 5 Plus smartphone. Talking about the Redmi 5, the smartphone sports a 5.7-inch display with HD+ (1440 x 720 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Goes Official with 5.99″ Bezel-less Display & Snapdragon 835 SoC

fter being in the rumors mills for quite a few months, the Mi MIX 2 is now officially unveiled at an event held in Beijing, China. Along with the Mi MIX 2, Xiaomi also announced the Mi Note 3smartphone and Mi Notebook Pro laptop. The Mi MIX 2 comes with 7-series aluminum frame and ceramic body. The high-end variant also comes with a gold-plated ring around the rear camera sensor. As rumors suggested, there is no dual camera setup on the rear. The ceramic made power button and volume rocker are placed on the right edge. The ceramic body on the rear is curved on to all the four edges. Xiaomi Launches Mi A1 With Dual Cameras And Stock Android In India

Xiaomi has announced the new Mi A1 at an event in New Delhi at a price of Rs 14,999. The phone will be available in Black, Gold and Rose Gold colour variants. The Mi A1 will be the first Xiaomi smartphone to feature stock Android OS in association with Google’s Android One program. The company has also confirmed that the device will receive Android 8.0 Oreo update before the end of 2017 and will be in line to receive to Android P update next year. The smartphone has a 5.5 inch 1920 x 1080 px display with Corning Gorilla Glass on top for protection and metal unibody build. Powering the device is a 3,080 mAh battery and fast charging through the Type C port. The Mi A1 runs pure Android 7.1.2 Nougat OS. MIUI 9 Global beta ROM released for more Xiaomi devices

Xiaomi has started rolling out the MIUI 9 global beta update for the second batch of smartphones. This will include a lot more Mi phones, such as the Mi Max 2, Mi 5, Mi 5s, and Redmi 4 etc. However, since it is the ‘Global Beta ROM’ and not the stable build, installing it comes with some potential issues. According to  Xiaomi ’s forum, the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM 7.8.24 is now available for many of the Mi and Redmi phones. Earlier, the company had launched the MIUI 9 Global Beta ROM for a handful of devices like the Xiaomi Mi 6, Redmi Note 4, and the Redmi Note 4X in the first phase. It is to be noted that Redmi Note 4 in India was eligible for the global MIUI 9 beta ROM, which got Android  Nougat update  recently. Talking about the specifications, the RedmiNote 5A will be powered by the power efficient Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. The Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max 2 are also powered by the same the processor. On the front, we will be looking at a 5.5-inch display offering Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. From the above feature image, we can spot the circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The device will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with different storage options. It will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat based MIUI 9 out of the box. It is backed by a 4,100mAh battery that can easily last more than a day long usage. Taking about the Redmi Note 5A, it is rumored to launch on August 21st in China. The phone was already released in China back in May. Priced at Rs. 16,999, the Mi Max 2 offers a huge battery along with a power efficient chipset from Qualcomm. The Mi Max 2 is the successor of the Mi Max that was launched last year. The Mi Max 2 comes with the same 6.44 inch display as its predecessor but along with a massive 5,300 mAh battery. The Mi Max 2 features a 6.44-inch full HD IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The display comes with Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
