Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Bezel-less Smartphone Launch in India for Rs. 35,999


It sports a 5.99-inch display with Full HD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) resolution and 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood is the 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core processor clocked at 2.45GHz and comes coupled with Adreno 540 GPU. It includes 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.1 storage. Just like the other flagship Xiaomi smartphones, there is no MicroSD card slot on Mi MIX 2 for storage expansion. Unlike the original Mi MIX, the Mi MIX 2 is missing the 3.5mm audio jack.
In terms of optics, there is a 12MP Sony IMX386 sensor on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and 4-axis OIS. The 5MP front-facing camera now comes with the facial recognition support and also offers 36 beauty modes. The Mi MIX 2 comes with dual SIM card slot and supports VoLTE connectivity. The smartphone is backed by a 3,400mAh non-removable battery and supports Quick Charge 3.0 using the 9V/2A (18W) power adapter. It measures 151.8 x 75.5 x 7.7 mm and weighs 185 grams.
Coming to the pricing, the Mi MIX 2 is priced at Rs. 35,999 and the first preview sale will be held on October 17th on Flipkart and Mi.com. It will go on sale from the first week of November through Flipkart, Mi.com, Mi Home, and other offline retail stores. The device will be available only in Black color option and there will be is no Limited Edition variant in White color.
