Talking about the specifications, the RedmiNote 5A will be powered by the power efficient Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor. The Redmi Note 4 and Mi Max 2 are also powered by the same the processor. On the front, we will be looking at a 5.5-inch display offering Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution. From the above feature image, we can spot the circular fingerprint sensor on the rear. The device will be available in 3GB and 4GB RAM variants with different storage options. It will be running on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat based MIUI 9 out of the box.

It is backed by a 4,100mAh battery that can easily last more than a day long usage. Taking about the Redmi Note 5A, it is rumored to launch on August 21st in China. Since there is no official confirmation, take these details with a pinch of salt.
